Author Presentations and Interactive Comic Drawing Workshops with Jennifer Cuthbert Lam!

Author presentations are back! Adventures of Lollipop creator Jennifer Cuthbert Lam is available to visit your elementary school or classroom, either virtually or in-person for a fun and interactive comic workshop! Jennifer has been visiting schools in the GTA since 2004! Don't miss this opportunity to bring a Canadian author/artist into your classroom!

Activities may include:
-an interactive story read-aloud (best suited for younger grades)
-a short lesson on the text features used in comic strips and graphic novels, as well as tips on how to draw your own comics
-a step by step lesson on drawing one or more of the Adventures of Lollipop characters
-an opportunity to order signed Adventures of Lollipop books
Best suited for Grades K-6.

2021-2022 Pricing:
1 hour virtual workshop (Zoom or Google Meets) - $50.00 CAD
Half school day (2.5-3 hours in-person)* - $100.00 CAD
Full school day (in-person)* - $200.00 CAD
*Extra charge may apply for travel outside of Halton/Peel regions
